Greta Thunberg - An Environmental Activist

 Greta Thunberg is an environmental activist who sat in front of the Swedish parliament to influence the countries leadership to take action against the negligence towards climate change. 


Born on the 3rd of January 2003, she always felt the need to be serious about climate change though the world did not think so at the time. She was then done with and decided to sit in front of parliament. The public took notice of this and joined in her cause. Soon she found herself speaking in front of the United Nations


Greta Thunberg would learn about the effects of climate change in the year 2008 and then began to think about why the governments of the world were doing less than what was needed. She then began to not talk and eat, she was soon diagnosed with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. Greta then suffered from depression for the next 2-3 years before she began her strike. 


Greta has been championing this until the date and has been very passionate about this cause. She was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize and won countless other awards later. She has been supported by the public and was joined by thousands in her protest against the negligence of governments.
